7 Natural Treatments For Face Cloth

Also known as “melasma”, the cloth is a more common skin condition in women, as it is related to female hormones (estrogens and progesterone).

In the following article we will tell you which are the best natural treatments to end this facial problem.

What is cloth and why is it produced?

The cloth is caused by an increase in the production of melanin.

When this pigment in charge of giving color to the skin is in high quantities, the consequence is the appearance of these “spots” in the dermis (especially on the face).

Although this problem can affect the entire population, it is more frequent in women of childbearing age due to the number of female hormones they have and that we have discussed previously.

It usually appears on the cheeks, chin, forehead, and on top of the lips.

Among the triggers of the cloth we can highlight:

  • The pregnancy.
  • Take the contraceptive pill.
  • Exposing yourself too much to the sun.
  • Stress or anxiety
  • The Heritage.
  • Certain medical or cosmetic treatments.
  • Thyroid gland malfunction.

Sometimes the skin “returns to normal” after childbirth, when the contraceptive method is changed or the hours of exposure to UV rays are reduced.

In other cases it is necessary to resort to a treatment, which may or may not be natural.

Home remedies for face cloth

Once we identify the cause of melasma, it is easier to choose an appropriate treatment. It is recommended to go first to the dermatologist and consult our doubts before carrying out the following remedies.

Likewise, none of the homemade recipes that we indicate below have side effects. In the same way, there is very little scientific evidence about them to support their supposed depigmenting properties.

They are applied externally and replace creams or more invasive techniques.

1. Banana mask

Banana mask

The banana or plantain has many nutrients and is antimicrobial. Even in the shell!

  • A good way to improve the health of the face is to rub the inside of the skin of this fruit after we have washed our face.
  • Let it dry for 15 minutes and rinse with plenty of warm water.

Another option is to prepare a mask:

  • It’s as simple as  mashing a banana with a fork and applying it to your face.
  • After 20 minutes remove with water and apply a hydration cream.

2. Lemon and parsley lotion

The acid of this citric plays an important antifungal role. That is why it can be very helpful if we have these spots on the skin.

  • Squeeze the lemon and wash the parsley.
  • Remove the stems from the parsley and add the leaves to the blender glass.

  • Add it to the blender glass with the eggs.
